 I am going out of town for a few days, so I thought I would just 
 try to answer this preemptively. 
  
 If your storage method is tradspool, you will need to get the 
 articles, one per file, back into the appropriate subdirectory of 
 $pathspool/articles/ with the appropriate names (which would be 
 the article number as you see in the Xref header).  Depending on 
 the format you have to start with, and how many articles there 
 are, this may require a little bit of scripting.
