 My main interactions with git Web UIs are with cgit, that allows to set 
 that in a trivial way. So I assumed it would have been easy with GitLab 
 too. 
  
 If it really can not do that, then I guess I am not going to re-enable 
 MRs on my repositories. But at that point, I fail to see the appeal of 
 using GitLab at all.
