 I don't know the Canadian regulations, so this may be irrelevant but 
 in the U.S. there is a time limit of two years after taking the 
 knowledge test (ground school) until you take the practical flight 
 test.  If more than two years have past the test must be taken again. 
 Do you have such restrictions in Canada?
