Due to the rapidly changing river conditions, and river flooding around       the state, I've decided it's impractical to do manual updates on the       numerous Flood Warnings and advisories on the BBS.               However, you can get real time information at the following URL on the       internet:              http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/index.php?wfo=lzk               This is the site for the National Weather Service Advanced Hydrologic       Prediction Service, for the areas in and around the National Weather       Service in Little Rock.               Move your mouse over the desired location, or click on the desired       location, and you'll get the latest graphical statements and forecasts,       for rivers either at advisory level (near flood stage), or experiencing       flooding (minor, moderate, or major severity).               The symbols also show where a hydrograph is available, and where both       a hydrograph and probability of flooding are available.               Also, you can choose from river observations, river forecasts, long       range flood risk (experimental), recent and forecast precipitation, and       you can download the data.                     Posted by VPost v1.7.081019              --- Virtual Advanced Ver 2 for DOS         * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS (1:19/33)    |
