Mark,

MH>DS> In some areas, it appears that winter just won't go away.

MH>Like here in MD! We are supposed to get some freezing rain today. Then up
MH>the upper 60s tomorrow, then next week back in the 40s for highs and 20s for
MH>lows. Way below normal for this time of the year.

We were at the other extreme...severe weather was in the region last
night. Tornadoes hit Tulsa and Moore, Oklahoma...and there were tornado
warnings in north Arkansas. The night before, they reported a waterspout
on Bull Shoals Lake in north central Arkansas.

MH>Our temps have been well below normal all season long.

I hope that's the way it is this summer...but some of the progs note
with El Nino, this could be hot and dry. That means fire danger and
   water rationing.

MH>Some are not far from the truth, but funny!

I didn't know there was such a thing as "pothole season".
