Mark,

MH>I'm not a fan of the extreme heat - but that doesn't happen too often up her
MH>fortunately. I enjoy the T-storms, and don't like stinging or any insects f
   MH>that matter.

I'd rather have thunderstorms that are "garden variety"...enough rain
to give the vegetation a drink, and nitrogen from the lightning to
fertilize the soil. I can do without the severe weather.

MH>We have loads of large pot holes up here right now. They can't fix most of
MH>until it warms up and stops snowing. Spring started yesterday with another
   MH>round of snow!

In some areas, it appears that winter just won't go away.

I've seen some bizarre pictures on Facebook of potholes (in many
   cases, they were photoshopped)...such as...

   1) The pothole repair truck fell into a pothole.

   2) A man is in a chair, with a fishing pole, cast into the water of the
   pothole.

   3) A giraffe's neck is sticking out a relatively deep pothole.

   4) A pothole that's so big, that it has opened its own gift shop.
