NB> "W" for slash commands. I can see it flash by, but not slow enough to

   Was wondering if you have ANSI turned on?  When I select "W", it isn't that   
   big of a menu (not enough lines to even trigger the screen pause).   
      
   It is almost like somehow your screen is getting cleared.
