JK> That's neat :) We have a neighbor who's started plowing our driveway for
JK> $15.00.. works for us .. before that we were at the mercy of
JK> teenagers who wanted to make $$ which was good, but we had to hope they'd
JK> come by after a snowstorm if we too busy to get to it..

MH> If I had to wait for teenagers to shovel snow, we would be waiting
MH> forever. Not a single one of them in our neighborhood shovels. Too
MH> spoiled and lazy. Not many around here want to get their hands dirty.

Around here, it seems the kids are rather entrepreneuring... they show
up shortly AFTER Richard finishes shoveling our walks and the concrete
portion of the driveway... and offer to shovel for us... :) Richard
thinks they're just nuts, I think they see an easy job... Or don't
realize that the reason the bulk of the drive isn't shoveled down to
asphalt is because it isn't, it's grass in the middle and stones in the
   drive path... ;)

MH> I used to see dollar signs when it snowed when I was a teen. That is
MH> how I bought several of my computers back in the day.

Our son did a fairly good business, shoveling in the winter, mowing
lawns in the summer... used his own mower, his own shovel... that was
over twenty years ago now, though... :)
