That dovetails with my observations. you might be
right about that, and that might be what's saving us a bit.

YOu know it's weird, but the other day I was looking at the
forecast for the North Atlantic, area sort of betwixt NOrth
America and Greenland. I noticed, even this time of year, not even one gale
force wind warning, which is quite
   unusual.

I'd have to think about that. I'm trying to recall
what year it was we got snow Christmas day in NEw ORleans,
and it's not coming to my brain in relation to anything
which can help me pinpoint it . I'm thinking that winter after Katrina and
Rita snowfall for this part of the country was about average though.
   I'll have to think about
   that one.

MH> I don't really know if there is a correlation or not - just an
   MH> observation.

I've got antenna work to continue with, I'd like to have
cooler and no thunderstorms for about a week. A retired
colleague of mine's wife is back to teaching school, which
means he'll be minding grandson all by his lonesome. HE can bring grandson
over here, set him up with toys or games in
the living room for Kathy to keep an eye on whilst he and I
make some hay while the sun shines and finish a couple of
atnenna projects. OTherwise we're going to set up some gel
cell in a box ready to receive a radio for our
communications support for a long distance bike tour's
comms. I'd rather finish my outdoor antenna work right now
   though .

I could sure do without the snowy winter though, folks don't act like they
know how to drive in it around here
