YEp, she sort of blew herself out except for a remnant low,
which since then they said might redevelop into a closed
circulation again but shouldn't go much of anywhere because
of another system to the north. I'm still thinking the
Atlantic/Caribbean/Guf of MExico basin is due for one, and
we're ramping up to it in much the same way as we did in
   '05.

Cindy came up into the gulf about this same time frame back
in '05 iirc and after the fact was labeled a cat 1 hurricane when she came
ashore at NEw ORleans. WE haven't even had
one that big yet in the Atlantic basin this year I don't
believe, I'd have to go back through logs, but we're
suddenly brewing up little systems coming across from AFrica that if they
develop that dreaded closed circulation then we could sure be in for it.

Speaking of which, whoever's doing the autoposting in the
weather echo used to post a lot of marine forecasts for the
iNdian ocean, Australia and all sorts of interesting places. Sure wish he'd
reinstitute those. Every once in awhile when radio conditions are very good
I'm able to give a boat out
there a look at what's happening closer to his destination
   .

MH> I'm in Maryland would be welcome the rain. :)

I'm sure you would. We've gotten a little bit, but I"ve
seen a couple of those thunderstorms with lots of cloud to
ground lightning and not much moisture.

   Regards,
    Richard
