   I know what You mean. I had to drive down to Elmira after being east of   
   Rochester. Went down 14 on some beautiful country roads, but it was   
   raining much of the time. I kept running into areas, where I got into   
   the Hills down south, that were flooding pretty good and state police   
   kept rerouting us. Nothing catastrophic, but it was raining pretty good   
   Tuesday.

   I had heard it may happen earlier this year due to the warm and dry   
   weather. The fliers are already beautiful, but from what I saw down in   
   the southern tier Tuesday, It will be another 3 weeks at least, to peak.

   I only choose fall, beside it's beauty, for the fact it is generally   
   still warm during the day, and it may cool down in the evening, which I   
   don't mind after all summer with that rotten fan in the window. Yet the   
   days are not humid, though they can be warm. On those humid days, it   
   still is in the 60's or low 70's, so it is tolerable. And with the   
   weather change, I don't mind it getting dark a bit earlier. Though I do   
   not like getting up when it is dark, which is happening already.. But   
   You are right, who could hate the beautiful Spring, especially after the   
   long winter?
