NB>> So, what did* you get...? :) The weekend before this message, we

RW> We got rain and a bit of wind, that was about it. That was
RW> fine with me though. The following week it crept up into
    RW> the 70's.

I rarely complain about storms that don't materialize...

NB> got more than a foot of snow in 24 hours... I watched most of it
NB> come down from the visitor's lounge at the hospital, while there on
NB> the Saturday night waiting to talk to the surgeon that was to fix my
NB> neighbor's broken arm in the morning... At least my car was in the
NB> ramp garage, and I didn't have to clear it off when I finally got to
    NB> leave... ;)
NB> And during the month of February, we got half the snow we've had all
NB> season... 28 of the about 57 inches this season.

(Correction, so far only 56.1 inches...)

RW> That doesn't surprise me, I've seen quite a few days of
RW> shirtsleeve weather outside, which even for here is weird.
RW> But then, end of last week we're getting slapped around by
RW> the late winter tornadoes, Branson MIssouri and parts of
RW> INdiana and Kentucky, etc. Pretty strange stuff.

Very weird winter... and the spring is like unto it... My daffodils
are up and in full bloom, as is my neighbor's forsythia bush. We've had
summery temps for this whole week, but things are going back to normal
now, and over the weekend. Next week the highs are supposed to be back
in the 50's or even 40's. Not too bad, though... it's almost been too
hot this week alreadty, with highs getting into the low 80's. Last
year, when this happened in May, it was unseasonable enough...!
