Nope, had to do 'em inside. Thought it might turn
inclement, was a pretty day until toward evening, bt we had
to run errands, and the wind came up a bit late yesterday
afternoon. The white stuff is all gone of course, and there was sunshine and
blue skies while we ran errands at least.
IT gradually cooled throughout the day after midmorning
though. i was out cleaning up the interior of the van,
setting up Kathy's supply of to-go oxygen which had been
depleted, and it was long sleeve shirt only wx. When we
finally left to do errands after my radio duties I was glad
   I had the jacket.

That's alright, that guy sells those steaks off a truck will find me with a
partial box or one he will break up just to
sell the last of a load when I've got $$$ in my pockets and
I'll buy some more. I shouldn't have done it that time, but the meat supply
   was rather low.

Had I friends that did such a thingaround here I'd have
bought a deer tag and let a buddy shoot another one for me
and split it with him, that would have put plenty of meat
for the freezer by for the winter.

NB> the beginning of next week... we shall see. As it's December, this
NB> gradual descent into winter is to be expected, of course... ;)

YEah I'm expecting one more good one before Christmas. I'm
thinking it'll hold off a few days, which I'd sure
appreciate. A little rain that will just freeze after dark
isnt' my idea of fun Tuesday as we need to go into the city
for a Christmas dinner and meeting, and i"d rather not be on the roads when
roads are at that just frozen stage where
crews might not have put down the chemical. A couple of
nights like that last week, a bit cool but dry, and that's
   fine with me right now.
They've already got their first frozen stuff on the ground
in eastern Iowa where i grew up, Kathy's daughter fell on
the ice at the car wash/quicky lube where she works
Thursday. (And they wonder why I don't want to live there).

   Regards,
    Richard
