As long as you don't get another early snow storm... especially a major
   one... ;0

MH> It has been going back and forth between cold and semi-warm here. I
MH> have not worn a coat yet (probably one of the few people that has
MH> not). I normally hold out for the first big snow. My car heats up
MH> fast too, so I don't bother with coats that often.

I'm only wearing my spring/fall lightweight "hoodie", mostly when it's
raining, if anything. Haven't switched to the heavier sweatshirt-type
hoodie that I wear for most of the winter yet... I've got a proper
(Canadian-made) down coat that I can wear if it gets really cold, but
I've come to save that for when we get extended below 0degreesF weather.
Like you, my car heats up fast, and I'm usually only going between it
and overheated houses, or properly heated office buildings...

PS As to the bbs... ok, I managed to set the Quickscan stuff. Now...
neither QWK door works... The one with the // command to get to it,
just whisks the screen by too fast to see when one tries to get a
download started. The other one (WWIV-whatever) gave me an error
message about either not having enough space to compress or not being
able to find the compression program. Also, the screen from the Main
Menu that is supposed to show the // commands also whisks by too fast to
be seen... maybe needs a pause attached...? neb
