EP> I was floundering for a while with reading in areas.dat and displaying       EP> its contents properly until I revisited the data structures for arearec       EP> AND netnode! These data structures both contained INTs. After defining       EP> the ints as shorts, things went smoothly from there and I am able to       EP> display data from areas.dat correctly now.       EP>        EP> My next steps will be to add an interface to EDIT/ADD values and write       EP> the new configuration data files out to disk.       EP>        EP> p.s. My work is currently on Linux, but I will try to structure the code       EP> so it can easily be ported back to DOS (Borland TCC).              Sounds like some great progress!               Certainly will be nice if we have a working SETUP (source) for WWIVTOSS, just       so we have the entire package. Fortunately, I was able to do the needed       updates to WWIVTOSS itself - and have not had the need to change anything in       the SETUP. Still using the old SETUP.EXE from the very last version that       Craig released - which still works.              Hopefully it will port with no issues back to DOS (Borland C). I can test       that if/when needed.              Thanks!              - Mark              --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
