   a couple of days I try to install a fresh new version onto a fresh new windows   
   10 32bit installation within vmware player 'cause the host is a windows 10   
   64bit system and I get no winpoint wp2005b5 setup running under win10-64bit   
      
   So I've downloaded newest vmware player (v16) and installed onto the   
   win10-64bit workstation.   
   next installed an addtl. win10-32bit into a new vmguest.   
      
   one of the pre-installs on this vmguest requests to install a ntvdm   
   environment, I've accepted.   
      
   to install a fresh new winpoint installation I have to unpack wp2005b5 and   
   later replace the executable with the winpoint375 executable, correct?   
   so I've tried ... extracted the wp2005b5 package and starting setup exe ...   
   all I get is a runtime error 216

   I still run the setup in an elevated cmd box with administrative privileges.   
   I've still replaced the ACL under C:\Fido /s with all at least modify   
   permissions for all users.   
   but the runtime error is still the same  0xc0000005   
   and also the error offset is still the same: 0x000041ba  in each run
