   I'm sorry but I shot myself in the foot.   
      
   Some time I bragged to somebody that all my echo conference descriptions   
   were related to the echo of the conference.   
      
   Later I did however recall that the Fido Windows echo was named   
   MS-Windows. To correct that I went into the Fido configuration and   
   changed the name to WINDOWS.   
      
   I didn't see any echo mail in that conference for a loooong time.   
   Finally, later I found out that I had another Windows conference   
   that was a file directory for Windows programs.   
      
   OK, so I changed the name of the Fido conference back to MS-Windows but   
   still I didn't see any activity in the echo which as such wasn't so   
   surprising as the activity in that echo has always been less intense   
   than in WIN95.   
      
   Any backups were worthless since they are updated weekly but the other   
   day I found the reason. I had misspelled a file name to MS_WI001 instead   
   of MS-WI001. The computer didn't understand that it was the same file!!!   
      
   Now everything is hunky dory again with 100 messages in that area dating   
   from late november 2012. I didn't realize how long this has gone on.   
      
   Some messages like Ed's were even from october. I didn't recall having   
   read them.   
      
   You can repeat after me, "oh how time flies".
