   Unfortunately the current day celebrates the English invasion.  A lot of   
   people want to have it changed to some other date but so far there has not   
   been an urgent 'push' for a change.  Once we evolve to the republic that a   
   great majority of Aussies want, then the choice is simple: the Queen's   
   birthday that we currently also celebrate (not really; it's just a holiday).

   Thank you.  It's drying out here, although the eastern bank of our river is   
   just 100 metres away, slowly creeping up the street.  I may have to move my   
   Fido PC upstairs, soon.
