PQ> JP> .I had some fun just now, virus ? There was a notice on my mail that       PQ> JP> MS Live mail had a prize for me of $820,000.00 US. I had a look at it       PQ> JP> being protected by this clone if ever . . . !              PQ>In Thunderbird I always check the _source_ of unknowns first, Jean.        [Ctrl]+U       PQ>will view them for you in plain text, without activating anything harmful       (it       PQ>works also in Firefox, although by the time you do that it's already too       late       PQ>in FF). I never use the viewing 'panel' or whatever it's called in TB.              Thank You Paul!,              I have looked at the Source of some of the emails I have in TB but never       have thought to use the CTRL+U keypress.              I will try to keep that in mind the next time I want to have a look at       the insides of a message in TB.              You got me wondering how you checked the source of unknowns in TB       without clicking on the message.              Just now I looked at TB and the last message that I read was highlighted       and I could still read it in the viewing panel, so I tried       Right-Clicking on another message and looking at the drop-down box and       didn't see the CTRL+U option to view the source, so I could click on it       to do that.              I'll try looking at Mozilla TB Help to learn how to look at the message       source without opening it. Thanks for another ROUNDTUIT! |
