   I'm not sure touch desktops will ever take off - HP has tried marketing   
   several models over the past 2 years, without much success (though Win 7 is   
   not a good system for touch)... frankly, stretching your arm at more or less   
   shoulder-level to reach a screen element is uncomfortable and awkward, and   
   much less natural feeling than touching the screen of a tablet on your lap.   
      
   Try it at a desktop computer sometime... imagine you could minimize an app by   
   touching your index finger to the minimize button. Does it feel like a   
   comfortable thing to do? Try (pretending to) move a window by dragging the   
   title bar. Etc.
