   I hit on the same answer by bashing my way through at the M/S support site.   
   What I did was to download the M/S Support Partner Regcure product for the   
   free 14 day test with it.  It found and cleaned up the mess.  Which then let   
   me do the latest second Tuesday update for this month.  After which I did a   
   full scan with Panda.  Poof!  Yet another cookie monstor that was gotten rid   
   of that way.  OK, I've not done a second try at the Regcure tool yet. When I   
   get my backup SATA plug-in dupe drive clone for this, I'll go back and see   
   what else has surfaced in the mess.
