Hello Ed Vance,              To answer your basic question, "Can the Wi-Fi part of a Broadband Router be       turned OFF by me?" the answer should be yes. This is because turning Wi-Fi on       and off is usually done at the router / modem in your home. No guarantees,       though, as to what AT&T will do in the future.                     On May 15, 2018 12:05am, Ed Vance wrote to All:               EV> Howdy!,               EV> I have Basic DSL Service with AT&T.               EV> They have been sending me letters about their Advanced Digital Network.               EV> From what I can guess by what I've read is they may be putting Fiber        EV> Optic lines in my area.              It is my understanding AT&T is attempting to do away with "twin paired" wire       systems, and change everything to fiber optics / digital.               EV> ... %O% Bugs?
