   It's always wise to do a Diskcleanup and Defrag before that. Let the processes   
   run overnight, or do light tasks on the pc   
   while it's crunching away.   
      
   What product where you using, and what processor speed is your pc?   
      
   Sounds like you have a terabyte drive?   
      
   On my modest 1.6GHz 40GB pc, my average for MalwareBytes: about 500,000 files,   
   100 minutes.
