   You must be doing something really really really bad for them to goto those   
   extremes to recover data that may or may not exist.   
      
   At a business level, say a point of sale server that has a hard drive full of   
   credit card data, this would be worth doing.  For a thief, it might be cost   
   effective to recover it.   
      
   However, on a personal computer level... If you're that concerned, perhaps its   
   your conscious telling you something.
