   Most Laptop batteries I have seen for those 3 hour or so machiens are   
   already Li-ion. yuo only can put so many mah in a fixed soze battery   
   case and the Li-ion's are the most per package . Until a better   
   formulation battery coes along what you have is what you get.The only   
   way to extend their life is to use a secondary battery
