In a message on Thursday 02-11-16 Jean Parrot said to Holger Granholm:              GM Jean,              or should I say GN, because of the time stamp of your msg?              JP> Did you finally get the language changed ?              No, not yet, but for all programmes I have installed I've chosen english       and that works OK. As far as possible, I have installed most programs in       another partition than C: but some, for example Opera doesn't give me       that choice, but insists on installing only to C:.              Today I will take a deep dive with my file manager, to try to find out       if the US-english package is included. It should be about the same size       as the swedish language package.              If not, I'll have to import it. That's what people tell me to do.       I can't ask my GS because he had a colleague to upgrade the machine.              There's also another problem that I may have to get help with.       The machine still insists that my GS has an account, and doesn't allow       me to create a folder for "downloaded files", under my name.              Of course I have set my account to be ADMIN, but apparently my GS's       account is above me, :o(              JP> The Intel Agent has quit giving me a hard time, nothing that I did,       JP> for sure. The BIOS is now accessible and it presents a hot-key combo       JP> to go to it but it does not get there.              Excuse me but I don't know the Intel Agent, and what it's supposed to do       Regarding the access to the BIOS in the laptop, I did find the key to       get into it, and change settings.              JP> I will forget all about it and go my merry way. I can select a       JP> different booting device and and go my merry way and that is handy       JP> when I need to load Acronis to clone this machine.              I was far-sighted enough to make a recovery USB stick before I started       playing with the laptop. Even though TI9 refuses to run under Win10, the       recovery stick can be used to make a clone with the Macrium Reflect Free       program.              For normal backups I use the EASEUS backup program. That recovery stick       is 8Gb but for a full backup (without compression) of C:, I need 20 Gb       today.                     CU L8ER, Sam, OH0NC              aka Holger              ___        * MR/2 2.30 * Don't follow me, I'm lost too!                     --- PCBoard (R) v15.22 (OS/2) 2        * Origin: Coming to you from the Sunny Aland Islands.
