Hi! Holger,              On 01/11/2016 01:17 PM, you wrote:               HG> Thanks for the list of various Windows File Managers. I recall toying with PCTools as well,       and a bunch of other utils, say, to low-level format HDDs and adjust       sector-skipping rates, etc. :)               PQ>> of my machines and other things, take a trip when you get a chance        PQ>> to:        PQ>> http://members.dodo.com.au/~colgilly/               HG> I've deferred this message of yours. I really must do one or two piccies of the       current Win 8.1 before I blow it away, too. ;)               HG> I just read in todays newspaper that there have wild bush fires, IIRC        HG> south of Perth, with temperatures about 39°C and strong winds.              Yep, they're copping it tough over there. They share pretty much the same       environment as us on the east coast, but it's much much drier. Hence a lot of       bushfires.               HG> A local inhabitant here is visiting her sisters over there, over the        HG> XMAS season.              Ooh, this reminds me. My youngest daughter works as a nurse in a remote       hospital in Mount Isa (usually spelled Mt Isa). She was staying with me on       the weekend and happened to, just casually mind you, mention that she works       with a girl from Aland! I'm sure she said Aland. (I'll double-double       check.) I should ask for a name, as well.              Cheers,       Paul.              --- Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/31.4.0        * Origin: Paul's other Linux vBox - Maryborough, Qld, OZ (3:640/1384)    |
