Hi! Holger,              On 09 Jan 16 11:45, you wrote to me:               PQ>> Well... GMTA. My second was Total Commander! [giggle]               HG> Another file manager, I understand.              Yes. Hence the GMTA. Very early on around 1987, I started using Norton       Commander for DOS and that lasted about 5 years; I still have a copy of a       European variant with a BBS terminal option. At some time, I did have a look       at XTree but I didn't really like it since it didn't follow the same       multi-directory panel layout that I was used to. Since the early 90s I've       been using Total Commander for Windows (TC for short). That's over 25 years!        :)              These days I use Tux Commander on all of my Linux systems: One Dell desktop;       and about eight alternate USB boot & VirtualBox PC incarnations. It's the       closest approximation to TC in Windows, though with a couple of rough edges.        I also have a copy of the Gnome Commander on the Dell but it's not used often,       as it's a recent discovery courtesy of Bjoern Felton. Now I'm straying...       like an old bloke. Oops. For a squiz at some happy snaps of some of my       machines and other things, take a trip when you get a chance to:       http://members.dodo.com.au/~colgilly/               HG> Winter has finally arrived here. We're having 30-34øC days with variable       60-85% humidity but the Earth is still warming. It will get hotter through to       April/May, as we get deeper into the cyclone season. Oh, and I've just this       weekend installed my second UPS. So I'm ready for the storm season. :)               HG> Have a nice evening,              Thank you kindly. Have fun! Be good. (I don't think they're mutually       exclusive.)              Cheers,       Paul.              ...
