Hi! Tom,              On 07 Jan 16 10:13, you wrote to me:               PQ>> Neat! I've kept a copy of your note, Tom. Thank you.               TW> Despite my last post here is a keyboard/command lne reference for        TW> Linux mint               TW> http://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/244              Nice! Thank you. Despite your misgivings on the distribution, I appreciate       your recommendation of it. I have read of other reviews of the OS, but I       can't recall when or where I saw them. :)              I'm kinda pre-disposed to using a recent Puppy Linux, 6.0.2-something. I       already have a copy and have run it once or twice on two of my machines, just       from a USB boot. It has 'promise', particularly as it supposedly can use       Ubuntu packages.              OTOH, I have a hankering to run Xubuntu but that really depends on what       they'll do with the next LTS version due in April. I've been running their       14.04 LTS on & off in a VirtualBox and found it to be "useable". :) I intend       to hang on to Windows 8 till the X'u '.1' update that might sprout in June, or       maybe October.              I'm happy to give Mint a whirl in a VirtualBox, based on your say-so. I'm not       averse to command line voodoo mumbo-jumbo but your insider knowledge has       already given me an 'edge'. :) Thank you.              Cheers,       Paul.              ...
