    My desktop updated itself. So far, it's pretty good. The new start menu   
    is a nice compromise - a way for Microsoft to say they screwed up with   
    the Metro desktop and save face.   
      
    I had to re-install my printer, for some reason -- same driver, same   
    almost everything.   
      
    Microsoft Office 2013 wouldn't open documents after the upgrade but   
    appeared to work. OneNote 2013 asked for an Office365 license, it might   
    be that it was looking for a license. Once I said to work offline,   
    Office works fine.   
      
    I'm a little concerned about the tie in to OneDrive, storing Bitlocker   
    keys by default, and some of the automatically opted-in settings   
    regarding privacy.   
      
    I upgraded a year or two old Windows 7 install, should have tried a
