In a message dated 05-14-11, Alan Zisman said to All:              Hello Alan,              AZ>Is there a way that we can merge WIN95 with the other Fido echoes:       AZ>WINDOWS, WIN2000, WIN32, etc? Or at least WIN95 (which seems to have       AZ>the most traffic) with WINDOWS?              As such the name WIN)% is a misnomer and I would have nothing against       merging all Windows echoes into one version free name. I don't even       have access to the WIN2000 and WIN32 echoes so I don't know anything       about the traffic there.              As long as the WIN95 echo is thriving there isn't any traffic in the       WINDOWS echo. The problem is of course to direct all Windows users to       an echo with a new name.              AZ>As moderator of record of WIN95, I would be happy to have this       AZ>happen - and would be happy to let Jerry or someone else take over       AZ>the resulting multinational conglomerate.              The reason the WIN95 echo is thriving is only because of its moderator.       None of us frequenting this echo would like an old-time moderator that       strictly forbids non-Windows related messages.              If that would happen I think the traffic will drop on this echo, so       unless you are badly ill or totally fed up with moderating it I would       sincerely wish that you stay as moderator of any re-named echo.              If you are the moderator of the WINDOWS echo, please try to move us all       from the WIN95 to that one. As it is, I don't have any rules for the       WINDOWS echo so I don't know who the moderator for that is.              Have a nice day,              Holger              ___        * MR/2 2.30 * This OS/2 system uptime is 1595 days 16:59 hours (en).              --- PCBoard (R) v15.22 (OS/2) 2        * Origin: Coming to you from the Sunny Aland Islands.
