|    SyQuest EZFlyer 230 DISKS    |

       * Originally in: WindowsA              I just made a short Search for the software that comes with a SCSI       version of the SyQuest EZFlyer 230 External Removeable Cartridge HDD.              I used Web Of Trust to read comments about several of the websites       in the Results List for the Search but after seeing Negative reviews       about the sites I checked on I gave up and thought I'd ask here if       anyone knows a Safe website I could get the SCSI Installation software       at, for FREE? Thanks In Advance.              One of the Floppy Disks I got with my SyQuest EZ135 Parallel Port model       is for installing on NT.       There isn't any files for SCSI that I can see on that disk.              There are some SCSI files on another of the disks but I think they are       made for using the Parallel Port model with a Parallel Port to SCSI       Adapter SyQuest sold so I don't think I could use those files to       Restore the Backup Sets I made for the C: and D: HDD on the 486 pc.              My EZFlyer 230 drive is a SCSI model and I don't think any files on       the Floppies I got with my Parallel Port device would work with a       regular SCSI Drive that is connect to a SCSI card I got with the       SCSI drive.              That drive didn't come with any Floppies, it just came with one EZ135       Removeable Cartridge blank disk in the box that I have used to put some       files on to check out the drive before I used it to Read the Data off       of the Cartridges I had, and it did that job just fine.              I just would like to be able to Restore what I Backed Up the last time       I made one, using DOSBOX.              Some of the Cartridges I had files on had the files from the DOS and       Windows 3.1 directories and I'm sure I could put them in DOSBOX to be       able to use SyQuest's Backup and Restore programs after I made a       installation using the SCSI software.              I just had a thought, after sending this message I will look at a Web       Site called Archive.com or some such name to see if there are any       SyQuest files stored there that I could use.              ... No, Windows isn't dead . . . it just smells that way.       --- MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.49       --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux        * Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1)    |
