In a message dated 08-28-14, Jean Parrot said to Paul Quinn:

   Hi Jean,

JP> I got to read the mail just now and I am sorry to say that I am
JP> still alive and doing well, thank you for your nice words about my
   JP> silence.

I'm really glad to read you again because I have been a little worried
by your absence but Paul has soothed our wondering minds at times.

JP> It is due to my enjoying W-8 totally, I really like it, I got it to
JP> run as XP or better as W-7, it even looks alike.

In the meantime I have got another Lenovo after the earlier one didn't
want to connect to a LAN. The "new" one is a T61 type 6457 with a 160 Gb
HD and now running both OS/2 Warp 4 and XPp (the US/english version).

I have also fixed my "office" machine because it had to loan the 5-disk
Nakamichi CD changer to the "new" BBS machine. At the same time I did
disconnect one of the blowers in the office PC because it was so noisy
that I avoided to use it. Now it's really quiet.

The blower was one that blew air onto the disk-, HD- and CD-drives and
was not needed since the machine isn't used so long periods and I've
never seen another machine with a blower towards those units.

Also I noted that both machines were very clean inside because I have
used dust filters on all openings were air could get into the case.

JP> Reading the posts here are all above my head so I have nothing to
JP> add thus my silence. Yes, I read it all most every day but humbly I
JP> will say that I have nothing to add.

Well as above, somebody may have had something to tell you, hi.

JP> I am out in the boonies still, WiFying the connections. All is well.

   Happy to hear (read) that.
