   Even so, they're made up of button cells. Although I suspect that yours   
   may not be servicable and has to be replaced. Do you have a battery model   
   number, as in CS-DED500.   
      
   That's the model number of one battery that services several Dell laptops   
   - D500, D505, D520, D600 and D610, which are pretty old laptops. I have a   
   D500 Dell Laptop and a spare battery that has been charged only once.   
   Trouble is that they're $60-70 bux these days, but still available.
