TW>> I would recomend Passing on Win 8 and wait for Win9 to come out.       TW>> Unless of course you can get a free copy of 8               HG> If there will be any updates to Windows. M$ seems to be in        HG> big trouble since they are firing up to 18000 workers world        HG> wide.               Well, let's see. I just spent a lot of time restoring a computer        for my daughter, one the uses Vista. Once more I hate Vista.               Now I'm hearing all sorts of bad things about Windows 8.               Windows 7 didn't last long at all. I wonder why.               Now they are already talking about Windows 9.               This short cycle turn around with Windows versions is typical of        failed Windows versions. IOW, they are not just screwing up,        they are screwing up repeatedly.               I trace this back to two things. Windows 98 where they realy        started trying to control everything about computers, and their        general drive to monopolize computer software.               That was when Microsoft representatives committed perjury in        court.               I am of the belief that the constant invasion by computer        viruses is also due to Microsoft writing software so huge and so        controlling they have no idea how many places they are leaving        open for invasion.                            BOB KLAHN bob.klahn@sev.org http://home.toltbbs.com/bobklahn              ...
