   He may have been referring to the fact that there is another Codec pack   
   (called Windows Codecs, Google shows several sources, I downloaded mine from   
   Shark007.net) that is considered more stable than K-Lite (as per posts in   
   various forums). Personally I convert everything I want to watch using   
   DVDStyler to DVD format for offline play, except maybe youtube (g), so I have   
   not needed any Codecs to date. :)
