    From what I have read, about 25% of businesses are not switching   
    systems. The cost of changing is too high. Even more home owners   
    are keeping XP. Even if they buy a new computer they are likely   
    to keep an old one with XP. Buy a laptop with Win 7 or 8 but   
    keep the desktop with XP.   
      
    BTW, not too long ago I ran into a problem where plugging a   
    flash drive into my USB port got the system to try to install   
    it, then it asked to go online to get the software, then failed   
    to install.   
      
    This happened on three seperate systems. I reinstalled a back up   
    image and got all three working. I wonder if that was a Win   
    Update that caused that.   
      
    I have had programs that stopped working after SP 3 was   
    installed. I figured that was some error on MS part, now I'm   
    wondering if it is a mistake that his happened.
