Though I have a "new" computer that has Vista on        BK> it,        BK> I bought a Win 8 upgrade when they were very cheap, and plan        BK> to        BK> put that on it.              Bob, Dale, Matt, et alia,              I bought my brothers Vista Basic notebook when he got a W7 box.              At first UAC made me think: Why is it asking me IF I Want To Do This?       Now I just read the UAC screen and tell it O.K. and do what I wanted       to do.              I can't remember if UAC ever has popped up on its own because it saw       something wanting to be changed and asking if it was O.K. to allow.       Therefore I feel like it is a good feature.       I've adjusted to UAC appearing on the screen, and just thinking about       it, every program I use expects me to do things THEIR WAY.               BK> One problem can be lack of drivers for an older system.              Or the Company isn't in business anymore to issue any newer drivers.              ...
