   Program compatibility and registry directives..   
      
   You are better off taking your *created* data and saving it to external media   
   and then obtaining program versions that are compatible with Vista/7.   
      
   Even though you might have programs installed that are, they are currently   
   installed with XP settings, executables, dll's and registry directives.   
      
   PCM will import into your new, all the quirks and problems of your old, given   
   the uncertainty variable of program compatibility its wiser to do a fresh   
   install, reinstall compatible versions of your programs and then feeding it   
   your prior saved data.
