   Actually, the new torx type pentalobe tool can be found at Home Depot or    
   Lowes here in the US.  They come in small sets - made in China of course.   
      
   But you're correct about Apple not wanting you to mess with the hardware.   
      
   Hey, it's probably warmer where you are than here in Texas today.  Temps    
   expected to get down to 14 F tonite.
