   Report what you discover, please.... the Mac App Store, for instance, is   
   user-based,   
   not machine based - at least for things like Mac OS X updates.... once   
   purchased, they can be re-downloaded onto multiple machines. (I haven't tested   
   it with 3rd-party apps).
