EV>TW>I alkso migrated to the PC world form a Commodore, In my case the 128 as       EV>TW>I likes al the avialalble software, Most feww of inexpensive that was       EV>TW>avilable for the CPM side of the 128 because it was a Compatable CPM       EV>TW>version with the Osborne and Kaypro machines.              EV>I almost bought a C=128(D?) at a Thrift Store but they marked each of       EV>the two pieces with a price higher than I would want to pay for a one       EV>piece C=128.              EV>I have met folks with C=128's and the 1571 drives but always was       EV>satisfied with the C=64 and didn't want to upset the apple cart before I       EV>could hint about wanting a 486DX33 ibm compatible pc. ;-)              As I said my attraction was the CPM Software aviliable becasue of it's       compatability with the Onsorne/Kaypro suitcase computers. There was an       Income tax program that I used for several years before going to hte XT       clone. Plus Genealogy program was another CPM program that I liked.       I did use the 128 side of the computer and there was a nice selection       there alos. NONE of which were 64 compatable becaue they needed a 80       character screen as I recall.       ---        þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom strikes agaoin        * Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 And Still Here.
