   I quite liked Calmira... Around 1999/2000 or so, I was asked to help a school   
   make   
   use of an abandoned IBM Thinkpad laptop found in a drawer. A 486 processor,   
   8MB (!) of RAM, Win 3.1 and MS Office 6.0 installed.   
      
   I added Calmira and another utility that added a sort of long file name   
   support and it suddenly felt much more modern - very quick boot time   
   (including loading Windows) compared to systems of that era.   
      
   Suddenly, folks wanted to use the laptop.
