Howdy!,              When I turned this XP pc Yesterday I looked at the Local Area Connection       and instead of seeing the usual DNS Server numbers it had one entry of       192.168.1.1 instead of the usual two IP Address(s) that it shows me.              Today when I turned it on the Local Area Connection settings showed       the regular settings, except it could send Data out but not receive       any Data.              I tried Restarting the pc without turning the Router or DSL Modem Off       and the Local Area Connection settings still showed the usual settings       but still it couldn't receive any Data.              So I Shut down the pc, turned the Router and DSL Modem Off, and then       Powered Down the UPS.              I waited 15 minutes and turned every thing On and this time when I       checked the Local Area Connection settings they all looked good and       I could Send and Receive Data. Finally.              Anyone have an idea why this XP pc BURPED yesterday and today?              Thanks!                     ... Have you checked your smoke detector batteries & Fire Ext, LATELY?!       --- MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.49       --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux        * Origin: CCO BBS - capcity2.synchro.net - 1-502-875-8938 (1:2320/105)    |
