Howdy! Ben and ALL,              After putting the notebook back together the Display didn't have       anything on it when I turned it on.              I "think" the OS and BIOS is working because when I hold a Key down       for a while I can hear some beeping sounds.              I've opened it back up to see if I can see anything I forgot to do.              One thing I learned is that working on a Desktop machine is a lot       easier.              Inside my notebook are some very thin cables to plug in to sockets,       I haven't seen any thing like that in the few Desktops I have been       in to.              Since I'm hearing the beeping sound when I hold a Key down I'm "thinking"       I got the new BIOS battery in correctly.       I said this because when I got the cover off of the battery holder,       the Cell flipped out.              My memory says that when I looked at the Cell Holder before I took the top       off, that I saw Printing on the Cell, so I put the new Cell in the same       way.              I'm guessing if I put the BIOS Battery in backwards that I couldn't hear       the noise in the speaker when I held a key down.              Hopefully when I put it back together again I will have better results.              I turned it on today with the old HDD in it.              So far Win95 PC = 1 Ed = 0                            ...
