   are on a CD from 2012, but I also have older versions on CD's, from the

   I still have to find the command 'Run' to be able to install the ZTree   
   file manager. Win 10 has lost the file manager, they had in earlier

   XP will stay on the oldest TP, and the newer TP will include both OS/2

   Oh that's long been a 'users' choice. Since Warp 3, OS/2 has a GUI that   
   got even nicer in Warp 4. I do mostly use the GUI, but am also happy to   
   be able to use the c-line, and also the superb built-in PCDOS.   
      
   And almost best of all, the operating system does only occupy 120 Mb of   
   hard disk space, and the texts one writes don't have the meta data that   
   M$ throws in, and all programs are more compact (HD wise) too.   
      
   The real problem with those older versions of OS/2, is the installation.   
   You have to install it first, and on small partitions (up to 2 Gb), and   
   those versions don't like duo or quad CPU's.   
      
   There's however a new version named EStn that can cope even with newer   
   machines, but it costs more than I'm willing to pay, as long as this old   
   version works for me.   
      
   I install the OS/2 operating system to a 500 Mb partition, that also can   
   include my most needed utilities, and then leave two 2Gb partitions for   
   other programs. After those partitions I install Windows or whatever on   
   any size partition.   
      
   The op-sys works so fast that older machines do very well even with a   
   small amount of RAM. This machine has a 486DX2/80MHz, 16 Mb RAM and a   
   256 kb cache. Nobody has yet complained that the BBS is slow, hi.
