In a message on Tuesday 10-11-15 Roger Nelson said to Holger Granholm:

   Howdy Roger,

RN> I almost missed this one, so forgive me if I slipped up on the
   RN> formatting.

   You're excused !

HG> Well, as you may know, you can always use the BM of OS/2. It will be
HG> shut down by the Windows installation but can be re-instated by
HG> running the FDisk of OS/2.
   RN>
RN> "We have seen the enemy and he is us."
   RN>
RN> There is a Boot Manager in the final release. It takes a little
RN> fiddling with to get it installed, but it works fine. I can now
RN> boot to either W7 or W10. Some of my programs won't run in W10, ....

It was about time! OS/2 had a bootmanager already in v2.1 of 1993.
That was my first copy of the new operating system. That was followed
by Warp 3, and then Warp 4 plus FixPaks.

RN> I'm forced to do it this way, rather than wait on M$ to produce a
RN> fix for a program (MS Money) they no longer support. You should
RN> read some of the "answers and solutions" posted on the M$ web site.
   RN> Good grief!

No thanks, I'm not that interested in Windows, but I will install the
XP/pro I have to the ThinkPad I'm presently trying to install OS/2 on.

HG> That of course means that you have to be able to install OS/2 .....

RN> I figured that, but I can't install Warp on this machine. I've
RN> tried. But I was able to get the Boot Manager from Windows 10 to
   RN> behave. (-:

Nice to learn that. Maybe I will someday fall into the Windows trap.
Well, I've been there until WFWG v3.11.

Windows 10 feels tempting and I've been promised the laptop of my
grandson as a XMas gift. That will be complete with Win10.

   Christmas comes early here ;o)

   Have a nice afternoon,

   Holger
