In a message dated 09-03-15, Paul Quinn said to Holger Granholm:

   Good morning Paul,

I can see that your message was sent in the late morning ;o)

PQ> The one I downloaded is v2.26 dated December 1999.

PQ> You sould have held out a little longer. SemPoint is *free*, with
PQ> the (last ever) version that I have. Oh well, you would still have
PQ> been frustrated as it requires Windows, and I do have to admit,

At the time I didn't know about Sempoint while FD APX was available
within a stretched arm, in Stockholm.

PQ> SemPoint is not a perfect program; it has crashed several times over
PQ> the years, at times taking with it some fine echo scribblings I was
PQ> doing at the time. :(

In that case, I made the right choice. FD APX has never crashed for me,
neither has WFWG 3.11 while running that program.

In hindsight, WFWG apparently was a very stable system since I can't
recall it was especially crashprone. I fact I don't recall any crash
but that may be because of an aging memory.

Please note, I refuse to call WFWG an operating system since it ran
under DOS, which was the os.

   Have a nice day,

   Holger
