   Howdy! Holger,

EV> I tried using Telnet with HyperTerminal PE.

HyperTerminal is the program in XP, HyperTerminal PE is a later edition
of that program, the PE stands for "Personal Edition".

EV> I think SEMPOINT did that iirc.??

Sempoint is a Windows .QWK Reader as SLMR and MultiMail are.

EV> IIRC, I used Telix on my 486 box when I called local BBS's by
    EV> Dial-Up.

EV> I will look for the floppy disk set and play with it to see how it
EV> does with my using telnet to log on the BBS I use.

HG> I hope that it's still intact after having been stored so long.

I couldn't find the disks but I found TELIX351.ZIP and 2 other .ZIP
   files for Telix.

I looked at them using SHEZ and the Zips look O.K.
I couldn't see anything about Telnet so I guess I'll install Telix
and read the README.TXT or Doc File to learn how to use it.

   Thanks es 73
