   My first BBS started up on an Epson PC AX2 286/8MHz in nov 1988 under   
   the name "Sunny Island" with some english software and in feb 1992 I   
   bought and installed PCBoard 14.5a and have run it ever since.   
      
   I think I joined Fidonet in 1995 when a new v15 of PCBoard that included   
   Fidonet software was released.   
      
   But I started to use Internet e-mail in 1993 over an ISP in Finland.

   I'm considering buying a second hand Dell computer w. Win 7 installed to   
   upgrade to win 10. I may not be able to get something free .
